Uppittu


  Making Uppittu is the most boring stuff as most of the people don't like it :(

How to make Uppittu tastier and healthier:

My mother always gives me healthier tips on cooking as I stay abroad and need to cook myself.Eating out everyday is an impossible thing

Ingredients:
Sooji-1 cup
urad dal-1 teaspoom
chana dal-1 teaspoon
sesame seeds-1 teaspoon
curry leaves-handfull
coriander-handfull
onion-3/4 small in size
grated coconut-optional
water-2 cups
oil-1/4th cup
salt - 2 teaspoons

it merely takes me 5 minutes to make tasty and healthy recipe uppittu with all these ingredients in hand.

Dry roast sooji till it turns light brown and simultaneously boil water in a kettle on low point.
Transfer sooji to a plate and add oil to the pan and let it heat.
Add sesame,chana and urad dal and let it splutter and turn light brown or gts fried.
Now add boiling water and salt.
Immediately add sooji,coriander and curry leaves to boiling water and sim for 3 minutes.
Healthy and tasty uppittu with decorated coconut  is ready to eat.
